Our Story
If you stroll down 367 Magill Road in Adelaide – or, perhaps, wander through 172 Henley Beach Road – chances are you might see our cooks building delicious burgers and smiling at you. The aroma of grilled buns and chips will waft to your nose.
But let’s wind the clock back 4 years to a spring day in March 2011. That’s when it all started.
It was a humble takeaway store, at first. At night, gleaming fluorescent lights showed the way inside. Here, burgers were being built, day in and day out, for throngs of hungry patrons.
Yet these were no ordinary burgers – they were hand-crafted from the choicest ingredients and boldest flavours. Stuff like fresh tomato salsa. Real, authentic Chipotle chili (try our Texan Madness burger – it’s spicy good!). Rustic Turkish rolls – instead of brioche bread – for titanic burgers that satisfied growling stomachs.
The place boomed. A few years later, the decision was made to relocate – so that even more patrons could be served. And a second location opened soon after, in a different part of town. In the short span of 4 years, Burger Foundry saw a meteoritic rise in popularity – no doubt because these burgers really are great burgers.
At Burger Foundry, you’re in for a treat. We kid you not. In fact, it is our pride and joy to not only satiate you with burgers, but also with delightful hand-cut chips, hearty milkshakes, beers, wines, and Gelista smoothies.
